Shibori & Classic Tie Dye Kit
After trying out some different Shibori techniques, you will quickly find out why it is one of the trendiest craft projects right now!
Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that typically involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it, then dyeing it in indigo which produces a variety of unique patterns!
Our Shibori kit comes with six full-size (20"x20") 100% cotton dinner napkins and a cotton tote bag. It also comes with RIT indigo dye and color-safe fixative. To produce different patterns, you will use the included craft sticks, wood squares, and rubber bands before you dip the bounded fabric in two large tin pans which are also included.

I had so much fun learning about shibori! I'm half Japanese and I didn't know about this craft til now, but now I'm obsessed - it's like an adult version of tie dye. It's pretty straightforward to do, but has lots of room for creativity and complexity. I bought a white dress to also dye and I'm excited to wear it out!

This kit was so much fun! I've never done tie dye before, so thought they came out well for a first timer. Love that your kits come with everything you need. Only drawback was the pans provided for the dye weren't big enough and I resorted to using a bucket.
