Depending on who you talk to, the word routine can have both positive and negative connotations associated with it. Believe it or not, crafting has a ton of positive benefits for the mind and soul. One of the best is that it is a fantastic mood-enhancer. If you are having a bad day, sitting down and using your creative side to make a DIY craft can turn that frown upside down! Adding in some friends to mix can sweeten the pot and turn it into a unique social activity. Our craft parties have provided people an easy and fun way to have a different type of get-together that is not only fun to do, but everyone gets to leave with something to show for and remember the occasion by!

Another aspect of crafting that we absolutely love about the DIY craft subscription box is it gets you away from your phone and computer. Obviously running an online store keeps us a little too close to our phones and computers and judging by observing people out in the real world, we aren't alone! That makes our craft time especially meaningful as can put all our devices aside and just focus on the task at hand. OK, maybe we do take a picture or two when we are finished (#adultsandcrafts!), but for the most part, we can escape the digital world and use our hands for something else besides texting!
