The holiday season is one of the best times of year to celebrate your employees, bring coworkers together, and have a little fun outside of the normal workday. But when your team works remotely—or is spread across different cities and states—planning a memorable holiday party can be a challenge.
That’s where Adults & Crafts virtual craft parties come in.
At Adults & Crafts, our instructor-led virtual craft parties make it easy to bring remote employees together for a creative, hands-on experience they can enjoy from the comfort of home. We ship the craft kits, provide the supplies, and lead the experience virtually—you simply invite your team and get ready to craft!
If you're searching for a remote team holiday party idea that goes beyond another virtual happy hour, here’s why a virtual craft party could be the perfect fit.
A Virtual Holiday Party That’s Actually Interactive
Remote employees spend enough time staring at screens. Your holiday party shouldn't feel like another Zoom meeting.
A virtual craft party gives everyone something to actually do together.
Instead of relying on small talk or awkward virtual party games, employees can work on a project with their hands while chatting, laughing, and comparing their creations with coworkers.
Crafting naturally creates conversation, making it especially helpful for remote teams whose employees may not interact with each other regularly outside of work.
We Ship Craft Kits Directly to Your Employees
One of the hardest parts of organizing a remote holiday party is coordinating everyone.
We make it simple.
Adults & Crafts can ship individual DIY craft kits directly to your participants, so employees don't need to shop for supplies or prepare materials ahead of the event.
Our kits include the materials, tools, and instructions needed to complete the project. When the party begins, everyone can open their kit and start crafting together.
That means less planning for your HR, People Operations, or Employee Experience team—and more time to enjoy the event.
A Live Instructor Leads the Experience
You don't need someone from your company to figure out how to teach the craft.
Our virtual craft parties are led by an Adults & Crafts instructor who guides your team through the project step by step.
Virtual classes typically last around one hour, making them easy to incorporate into a workday or evening holiday celebration.
Your team can craft, ask questions, socialize, and enjoy the experience together while we take care of leading the activity.
Choose a Craft Your Team Will Love
One of the best things about hosting a virtual holiday craft party with Adults & Crafts is the variety.
We offer a wide selection of creative projects, so you can choose an activity that fits your group. Depending on your event, options can include projects like:
-
Wood burning
-
Candle making
-
Resin crafts
-
Paint pouring
-
Engraving
-
Mandala dotting
-
Pressed flower projects
-
Home décor crafts
-
Seasonal and holiday crafts
Whether your employees are experienced crafters or haven't made anything since elementary school art class, our projects are designed to make crafting approachable and fun.
Everyone Gets Something to Keep
Many virtual team-building activities end when the meeting ends.
A craft party is different.
Every participant finishes the experience with something they created themselves. That could mean a candle for their home, a piece of décor, a wood-burned project, or another handmade creation.
It turns your virtual company holiday party into both an experience and a gift.
Instead of sending employees another branded water bottle or company swag item, you're giving them the opportunity to create something personal.
Perfect for Teams Across the Country
Remote workforces can include employees in dozens of different locations.
With a virtual event, your team doesn't need to travel to celebrate together. Employees can join from their homes while participating in the same shared activity.
This makes virtual craft parties especially useful for:
-
Fully remote companies
-
Hybrid teams
-
Distributed departments
-
Employee resource groups
-
Client appreciation events
-
Remote offices
-
Corporate holiday celebrations
Whether your group has employees in one city or spread throughout the country, everyone can still participate in the same holiday experience.
Give Remote Employees a Creative Break
The end of the year can be busy. Between deadlines, meetings, holiday travel, and wrapping up annual projects, employees may be ready for a change of pace.
A craft party gives your team permission to step away from their normal responsibilities and spend an hour doing something creative.
Instead of talking about spreadsheets, projects, and deadlines, employees can relax and focus on making something.
It's a simple way to create a more memorable end-of-year celebration.
Great for Client and Employee Holiday Gifts, Too
Don't need an instructor-led event?
Adults & Crafts can also help companies place bulk DIY craft kit orders for employees, clients, or partners to complete on their own.
This makes craft kits a unique alternative to traditional corporate holiday gifts.
You can send employees a creative experience they can enjoy during their own downtime—or encourage everyone to complete their projects and share the finished results with the team.
Make Your Remote Holiday Party Something Employees Will Remember
Your remote holiday party doesn't have to be another hour of staring at coworkers on a screen.
Make something together instead.
With Adults & Crafts Virtual Craft Parties, we make it easy to organize a fun, creative experience for remote employees. Choose your craft, send us your participant information, and we'll help take care of the rest—from shipping craft kits to leading your team through the project.
Whether you're planning a small departmental celebration or a company-wide event, a virtual craft party gives your team an opportunity to connect, create, and celebrate the holiday season together.
