I was looking forward to my mystery box because I generally enjoy the monthly boxes... this is VERY different from the monthly box.
Yes, there was a selection of surfaces, paints, and brushes, as described. Including 3 sets of paint, 3 identical sets of dotting tools and many miscellaneous materials - several of which I have no idea what they are or would be used for. Other than painting, I could get a general idea for one project but lack additional supplies to see it to completion. Also am embroidery set that looked complete but without instructions, I would not know where to begin.
I now realize why I enjoy the monthly box: process and product. Clear instructions and outcome are a must for me. I am very disappointed in this box but that is my mistake. There are a few things that I will keep but I have already reboxed most of it for donating. I have attached photos of what was included, what I will keep and will donate.
